Miller impressive as Navy backup QB

Navy football conducted its initial intra-squad scrimmage this past Saturday morning and the most impressive performer was freshman quarterback Trey Miller. The Midshipmen entered spring camp needing to identify a backup to Kriss Proctor at that position and Miller is beginning to make the coaching staff feel more comfortable.

Miller displayed superb speed, quickness and moves in rushing for 82 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries. The Georgia native showed decent accuracy and touch in also completing 4 of 5 passes for 41 yards. "Trey did a good job of moving the football today.
