Navy announces 3:30 PM kickoff times

Navy officials announced that five Mid home football games will kickoff at 3:30 pm ET which should allow for extensive pregame tailgating for fans prior to the VMI, San Jose State, Indiana, Florida Atlantic and Troy games.

NAVY'S 3:30 PM LINEUP

Sept. 22: VMI- The Big South opponent struggled through 2011, finishing with a 2-9 record.

Sept. 29: San Jose State- The Mids will host a San Jose State team that dealt a crushing end to Navy's bowl steak in 2011.

Oct. 10: Indiana- Navy gets a rare visit from a Big Ten opponent that is better known for its prowess in basketball.

Nov. 3: Florida Atlantic- Sun Belt Conference opponent finished 1-11 last season and was ranked 108th in rushing defense.

Nov. 17: Texas State- It'll be the first meeting ever between the Bobcats and Midshipmen.

NOTRE DAME IN IRELAND AT 9 AM ET

Navy also announced the starting time for the much anticipated season opener with Notre Dame in Dublin, Ireland. That game will start at 9 am ET (2 PM in Dublin).
