"I live about 25 minutes from Annapolis so I've been around Navy and Navy football all my life. It's something special to be able to serve your country and also get to play college football. At Navy, you really do get the best of both worlds.
"I'm a quarterback who likes to run and throw. We implemented a lot of quarterback read options plays this year in our offense. I think I'll fit perfectly into what Navy likes to do on offense. I think it will help living so close to campus. The spring I'll be able to attend practice and meetings. I'm going to start out at NAPS. After I get my academics sorted out, then I'm going to work on getting the offense down so I'll be ready when I get to the academy."
