Juste has offers from Army and Navy

Known for beautiful golf courses and gated communities, Palm Beach Gardens also sits squarely in the middle of the South Florida area's D-1 football talent pool. Both Navy and Army are trying to scoop up Milord Juste, a 6-foot-1, 250-pound defensive lineman, who has shone for the Gators at Palm Beach High School the past two seasons.

"Navy was the first to offer the first week of May," Juste told GoMids.com. "Coach Culton came to my class to see me. He said they liked how I could set the edge. My physicality, they loved that. He liked my motor too. He said they were looking at me for defensive end or just defensive line in general. It's an offer that I really like but I'm still looking into. I know that going to Navy would open up a lot of doors for me, so it's definitely an offer I'm going to seriously consider.

"Army just offered me last night officially. The offer came from Coach Ray McCartney who I had talked to before and told me he wanted to offer but needed to speak with the head coach. When he did he said the head coach told him to offer me as soon as possible. They also like me at defensive line, more in the three-technique."

Juste's offer list also includes Bryant, Cincinnati, and Colgate, but he is being recruited by South Florida schools FAU, Florida International, and Miami and being shown heavy interest from Buffalo and Middle Tennessee. He plans on camping at all five this summer.

"I'm going to hold off on a commitment until National Signing Day," he explained. "I just want to wait and see how everything pans out. I want to make sure I find the right fit with my education and a place where I'll be able to come in and compete for a starting position."

As a junior, Juste was named first team All-Area, All-County, and All-Conference, and second team All-State (Florida 8A). He recorded 13.5 sacks last season for a 9-5 Gator squad that finished as a state semifinalist in '13. Juste said this year's team features a number of D-1 prospects including Te'Von Coney, one of the nation's prep best linebackers.
