Trey Stanton played last season at the Naval Academy, but has decided to transfer to another school after only one season. Texas Tech assistant coach Chris Beard has contacted the versatile 6'10 power forward about coming to Texas Tech to give the Red Raiders more depth in the front court. RaiderPower.com caught up with the former Navy standout to get his thoughts on Texas Tech.

PF Trey Stanton played last season at the Naval Academy, but has since decided to transfer. "I'm transferring because I didn't feel that the Navy is where I wanted to be," said Stanton.  "I really enjoyed the team and coaches, I just couldn't see myself as an officer in the military."
