Navy Football 2007: Cornerbacks

At first glance the corner position looks very questionable but the 2007 Midshipmen corners should be solid. Here's a look at the Navy's 2007 cornerbacks.

*= returning starter

Left Cornerback

18 * Rashawn King (6-0, 190, Jr.)- Started 10 games for Navy at the left corner position as a sophomore. King is currently battling K. Buffin for the starting left corner spot. Had 50 tackles and broke up 4 passes.
OR
11 Ketric Buffin (5-7, 170, Jr.)- Buffin started the UMass and East Carolina games at corner and also started the Rutgers game at free safety. Finished season with 11 total tackles and 1 interception.
37 Darius Terry (5-7, 168, So.)- Rising sophomore who is working hard to get into the 2007 playing rotation. May see action on special teams.

Right Cornerback

20 Greg Thrasher (5-8, 181, Sr.) - Thrasher sat out the 2006 season to concentrate on academics but saw extensive action during the 2005 season, garnering 43 tackles and two interceptions. Took solid command of the right corner positon during the spring.
34 Ram Vela (5-9, 196, So.)-
Vela came to Navy as a slot back but was switched to corner during the spring.
47 Jordan Reagan (5-9, 177, Sr.)- Finished the spring as Navy's deadlocked with Ram Vela as Navy's backup right corner.
