Over 43 years of frustation ended today as Navy topped Notre Dame, 46-44, in a triple overtime thriller. Kaipo-Noa Kaheaku-Enhada completed a 25-yard touchdown pass to Reggie Campbell to give Navy the lead in the third overtime. Then, after the Irish scored on fourth-and-goal, Navy's often criticized defense stopped Travis Thomas for a 2-yard loss to give Navy the win.

It was Navy's first win over Notre Dame since 1963.

Navy improved to 5-4 with the win while the Irish fell to 1-8.

Stay tuned to GoMids.com for more on the game.
