Before a jam packed Navy-Marine Corps Stadium audience that included Presidential candidate John McCain, Navy kicker Matt Harmon booted a 24-yard field goal to lift the Mids over the Scarlet Knights. It was Harmon's third field goal of the day.

Navy improved to 2-2 with the win and ended a 2-game losing streak.

Eric Kettani rushed for 133 yards and a touchdowns. Shun White added 85 more yards on the ground.
