Steele Predicts Navy to Retain CIC Trophy

In an exclusive interview with writer Adam Nettina, college football magazine editor and overall "guru" Phil Steele picked the Navy Midshipmen to dominate CIC play in 2009, saying that coach Ken Niumatalolo's Midshipmen will beat rivals Army and Air Force and achieve bowl eligibility.

Steele, whose magazine has been named the most accurate in terms of predicting the success of college teams each the past 10 seasons, went on to say that he has Navy as an underdog in only four games in 2009, and said that he can foresee an improvement in Navy's record in 2009.
