The Mean Green's Giovanni Vizza completed 40 of 50 for 478 yards, 8 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. Two North Texas players caught 12 or more passes. Matt Wimsatt and Ram Vela both had the interceptions for Navy.

North Texas, a passing team, was able to accumulate 157 yards rushing on the Mids. Vizza carried for 98 yards.

Greg Veteto had a 51-yard punt that landed inside the NT 20. Veteto aslo made a 22-yard field goal. Reggie Campbell had a 73-yard kickoff return late in the fourth quarter.

Who needs a defense when you can score 74 points in a game? A simply amazing performance by the Mids. Navy fans will still be talking about this game in a 100 years. Next up is Northern Illinois. Look for the Huskies to open it up through the air.
