The Navy team rankings for the 2008-09 season continues with number 17 through 13. Four out of the five teams that are included in this portion of the countdown had winning records this past year, and three out of five of them beat Army. What does this mean? Well, it means that if you are ranked as the 17th or 13th best team sport at Navy, you aren’t too shabby. Full Story |

Kaleo Kina scored 19 points to lead Navy to a 75-63 victory over St. Francis (N.Y.) in men's basketball action on Tuesday night in Alumni Hall. The GoMids.com bandwagon was full on Wednesday night as board members converged on the web site to follow the much-anticipated showdown between Navy and American. With first place in the Patriot League on the line, Navy senior Greg Sprink scored 34 points to vault the Mids (16-12, 9-4) into a tie atop the standings with a convincing 83-68 victory over the Eagles (17-11, 9-4). MEN’S BASKETBALL (15-15): Lost the last regular season game at home to Bucknell 54-49. Close all the way and Army played hard, but lost in the final minute. As a result, we were seded 6th (of 8 teams) in the Patriot League playoffs and last night we played at #3 Lehigh. The Cadets played tenacious defense, and held Lehigh to 29% shooting.

2nd half), Army scored its highest Patriot League
offensive output in 4 years. The Black Knights held
off a valiant Navy team and earned its first Patriot
League victory away from home in 2 years with an 80-73
