Texas DB picks Navy

Brenndan Johnson was a surprise mid-week commitment for the Naval Academy. The 5-foot-11.5, 172-pound defensive back out of Reicher Catholic High School in Waco, Texas gave his recruiting coach, Mick Yokitis, a phone call Wednesday morning to tell him the good news.

"He started laughing and asking me if I was for real," Johnson told on Yokitis' reaction to his commitment.
